Artist's Description

I started out taking photographs as reference for my paintings... then I started digitally altering and "painting" my photographs to make them look like paintings themselves... I love trying to capture a timeless, unreal reality...I don't want to capture the scene but create the scene. In this case, the water really came out that color in the photograph, It was that magic time just before the sun set and everything here on the Gulf turns these amazing shades of blue and green...
